The Announcements module allows you route a call to play a Message, then send the call to a destination or to the last IVR the call came from if that is the desired behavior.Navigate to Advanced Configuration > Announcements
- Click on the + Add Announcement Button
- Enter a Description
- Choose a Recording from the dropdown
- Choose a digit that can be pressed to repeat the message or leave the option set to disabled
- Choose whether the caller can skip the recording or not
- Choose whether to send the call to the last IVR the call came from after playing the message by choosing Yes or leave No if you want the call to be sent to the Chosen Destination in the Destination after Playback field below.
- Don't Answer the channel being set to No may introduce a 1 second delay before sending the call to the destination.
- Setting this to Yes the system will try to deliver the call as early media if the channel supports it.
- Set the "Destination after Playback" by choosing the Module then the option from that module
