How to reinstall FreePBX on a System 715/716
If you need to reinstall FreePBX on your 715/716, you may need to remove the partitions to allow the system to install properly. To do this, follow the steps below.
- After starting the install, on the "Installation Summary" page
- Click on "INSTALLATION DESTINATION"
- On Device Selection page
- Uncheck your USB drive. Make sure that only the 29.12 GiB is checked.
- Select "I will configure partitioning
- Click Done
- On MANUAL PARTITIONING page
- You should see 3 entries
- New Sangoma OS 7.6 2002 Installation
- Sangoma Linux Linux ...(depending on version)
- Unknown
- If you do not see these 3, either your partitions are already removed, or more likely, you will need to hit the refresh button in the lower left by the + and -, then repeat step 2.
- Click the triangle in front of Sangoma Linux Linux 7.5.1805 to expand it and show the partitions.
- Remove each of the 3 partitions by clicking on one, then clicking the "minus" symbol at the bottom left.
- Once all 3 have been removed, the "Sangoma Linux Linux 7.5.1805" entry should disappear.
- Click the "Click here to create them automatically" blue text to recreate the proper partitions.
- Click Done.
From here, you can complete the FreePBX install as normal. When complete, we need to apply some patches for DAHDI and LED light control as outlined
