Reinstalling FreePBX on 715/716

How to reinstall FreePBX on a System 715/716

If you need to reinstall FreePBX on your 715/716, you may need to remove the partitions to allow the system to install properly.  To do this, follow the steps below.

  1. After starting the install, on the "Installation Summary" page
    1. Click on "INSTALLATION DESTINATION"
  2. On Device Selection page
    1. Uncheck your USB drive.  Make sure that only the 29.12 GiB is checked.
    2. Select "I will configure partitioning
    3. Click Done
  3. On MANUAL PARTITIONING page
    1. You should see 3 entries
      1. New Sangoma OS 7.6 2002 Installation
      2. Sangoma Linux Linux ...(depending on version)
      3. Unknown
    2. If you do not see these 3, either your partitions are already removed, or more likely, you will need to hit the refresh button in the lower left by the + and -, then repeat step 2.
    3. Click the triangle in front of Sangoma Linux Linux 7.5.1805 to expand it and show the partitions.
      1. Remove each of the 3 partitions by clicking on one, then clicking the "minus" symbol at the bottom left.
      2. Once all 3 have been removed, the "Sangoma Linux Linux 7.5.1805" entry should disappear.
    4. Click the "Click here to create them automatically" blue text to recreate the proper partitions.
    5. Click Done.

From here, you can complete the FreePBX install as normal.  When complete, we need to apply some patches for DAHDI and LED light control as outlined here
