Call Waiting

Overview

  • When call waiting is enabled on your extension your phone will be able to receive additional calls when you are already on an active call. 

Enable/Disable Call Waiting on the PBX

  • Call Waiting is enabled by default when extensions are created on your PBX
    • To verify call waiting is enabled on an Extension, Login to the Admin GUI of your PBX.
    • Navigate to Applications --> Extensions, Select the Extension in Question, and on the Advanced Tab verify the Call Waiting option under Extension Options.

Enable/Disable Call Waiting on your phone

  1. Login to the Admin GUI of your PBX
  2. Navigate to Settings --> ClearlyIP Devices

  3. From the Right Side Menu

  4. Select the Template wish to Enable/Disable the Call Waiting Beep on.

  5. Select the Phone Settings Tab, and make sure the Call Waiting option is set to enable. Phone Settings

  6. Be sure to Submit any changes.
