ComX - Changing LAN IP Address


To change the LAN IP on the ComXchange, change the following:

  1. Change the address/gateway under Admin > System Settings > Network Interfaces > LAN (Update Interface & Restart Network when done)
  2. If applicable, make sure clients on the new network are allowed for NTP under Admin > System Settings > NTP
  3. Change the DHCP settings under Admin > System Settings > DHCP
  4. Change the IP address in the appropriate places under Core Configuration > Endpoint Manager > Settings (in the flyout menu)
    1. If applicable, change the IP of the XML browser (guest mgmt and wakeup apps) in the endpoint templates
  5. Under Clearly Devices > Module Settings > Phone Apps, ensure the Phone Apps FQDN/IP is correct
    • Also check the provisioning server address under the provisioning tab
  6. Then, check all clearly devices templates under the General Settings tab to ensure the primary host is correct
    • Under the Regional Settings tab, check the Time Server
  7. If using OpenVPN, change the IP address and gateway, etc. in /etc/openvpn/openvpn-startup and change the server bridge and OpenVPN client IP range in /etc/openvpn/server.conf
    • Run systemctl restart openvpn@server.service to apply the changes
  8. Click "Detect Network Settings" under Admin > SIP settings to add the new subnet.
  9. Change Gateway IP and VOIP server (VOIP Trunk tab) under Core Configuration > Gateway Provisioning
  10. If applicable, add whitelist for the new subnet under Admin > System Settings > Intrusion Detection
  11. If applicable, change the local LAN interface IP in ESXI/Proxmox
    1. In ESXI > vmkernel NICs > vmk1
