The Feature Codes Module is used to enable and disable features that are available in the phone system. It is Also Possible to customize a feature code to something different than the default code. These codes define what a local user will dial to use that particular feature.Navigate to Core Configuration > Feature Codes to view or edit the current feature codes available on the phone system.
There are a few Codes such as that can be useful to know when setting up the phone system such as the echo test to verify audio and any latency from an extension. The speak your extension number is useful for verifying the extensions in guest rooms especially when using analog gateways.

These are the feature codes that can be used for guest services such as *56 for setting wakeup calls from a guest extension and sending a room status code to the PMS which is *2 by default
The My Voicemail Feauture Code of *55 can be dialed from guest or staff phones to get to the extension's mailbox.

Miscellaneous Application Feature Codes such as 0 is preconfigured to ring the front desk Ring Group but can be changed to ring other destinations by editing the Operator
