The Bulk Handler module can be used to import extensions and DID's as well as other objects. The Bulk Handler Module allows for the CSV Export and Import of extension information, inbound routes, blacklist numbers, conferences, Clearly Emergency Device Mappings, contacts, users, and groups. You can Export a CSV file of current extensions from the ComXchange server, modify it, then import the modified file to add many extensions very quickly but is currently only available for uploading Staff extensions. If an email is included in the extension an email will be sent to that address to notify that there were extension changes. You can place "noemail" in the Override Address to stop the notifications from being sent.
Navigate to Admin > Bulk Handler
- Choose the Export button
- Click on the Extensions tab
- Click on Export
- Modify the downloaded file
- Note: the Required headers are noted with an asterisk in the module
- Click on the Import button
- Browse to the modified file
- Click the Submit button
- Click on the Import button
- The server will process the file running data validation
- When the import is done click on the finished button
