Overview

  • Below are instructions on how to records new Greetings for the IVR on the Failover Gateway.

  • From a analog phone plugged into a FXS port you can use the following feature codes.
    • *81 to Record a new Greeting
    • *8200 to listen to the Greeting you just recorded
    • *82XX to listen to a existing recording with XX being one of the Recording ID's in the table below.
    • *83XX to save the Greeting you just recorded using *81.  Replace the XX with the Recording ID from below.

Typical flow to record a custom new open business hours Greeting.

    • Dial *81 and record your new Greeting and hang up.
    • You can now dial *8231 to save that Greeting is Recording ID 31 which is the welcome1 file
    • You can now go into the IVR and pick that new welcome1 Greeting you just recorded.
